Looking to switch?

Before you move anything,
work out whether you should.

Most of what makes switching hard isn’t technical. It’s not knowing what you’ll lose, and not knowing whether the thing you’re moving to is actually different or just newer. Here’s how we’d think about it, including the times we’d tell you not to.

20 minutes, on your own website, no slide deck. First month free.

  • Straight into sales and marketing

Every conversation becomes a scored lead, credited to the ad that produced it and reported every month.

  • Simple outcomes

One line of code, one record per person, and a person always clicks send.

In one sentence

Switching to YDO is one line of code on your site, and the approved answers, lead records and signed documents stay yours.

Four reasons people stall.
Answered before you ask.

  • “We’ll lose everything we’ve built up.”

The approved answers, the lead records and the signed documents are yours, and they leave with you. That is true of YDO and you should ask it of anyone. The better question to put to your current provider is whether you can export it yourself, without lodging a request and waiting.

  • “We haven’t got time to run a migration.”

It is one line of code on your site. The concierge answers from your own pages, documents and approved answers, and says so when nothing matches.

  • “We’re mid-contract.”

Connect and Sign each work on their own, with no minimum term. Nothing stops you starting with the one that’s hurting and leaving the rest until your current contract runs out.

  • “How do we know this one won’t do the same thing?”

Ask it to get something wrong. On the demo, ask the concierge a question your website has no answer to. If it invents something, you have your answer about us. That is the whole test.

The honest bit

When you shouldn’t switch.

Don’t move four weeks out from your busiest period

If you run events and your season starts next month, or you’re a care provider mid-audit, finish on what you know. Nothing about YDO gets worse by waiting eight weeks, and everything about a migration gets worse when the person running it is already underwater. Any provider telling you otherwise is selling, not advising.

Don’t switch for a feature you haven’t used yet

If the only thing pulling you across is scoring or reporting and you’ve never acted on a lead alert in your life, start with the one product that solves the pain you actually have. The rest is waiting.

Don’t switch if you need the thing we don’t do

If you need ticketing with SLAs, proposal content libraries, contract lifecycle management or session recording, the tool you’re on is probably the right tool. Each comparison page says plainly where that line is.

Ask it to get something wrong.
