Digital concierge
A bot answers a question.
A concierge takes care
of the thing.
A digital concierge that answers from your own pages and documents, and says so when it can’t. It recognises the person, books real appointments, tells the right human when it matters, and leaves a record.

Concierge, not chatbot
The difference is what happens after the question is answered.
A bot answers a question and forgets. A concierge recognises the person, takes care of the thing, tells the right human when it matters, and leaves a record.
If a tool answers the question and the person is a stranger again tomorrow, it is a chatbot. If it remembers them, scores them, alerts the right person and hands them a signed agreement, it is doing a concierge’s job. We use the different word because it describes a different standard, not because we are being precious about it. If you arrived here looking for a chatbot, that is the whole argument in two sentences. See the six jobs it does
We know what’s stopping you.
Here’s each one, answered properly.
These come up on nearly every call, in roughly this order.
“What if it gives a customer the wrong answer?”
It answers only from your content, and says so when nothing matches. When it has nothing to work from it tells the visitor plainly and takes a callback, rather than producing something plausible. Real questions are re-run after every content change and a slip flags the same day. It is built to refuse rather than guess, and the refusal is in the demo on purpose.
“Will it sound like a robot?”
It speaks in your voice, set up during onboarding. It is your business talking, not ours: how you address customers, what you call things, what you never say. And it hands to a person the moment a conversation needs one, offered once, warmly, and then honoured.
“We tried one of these. Nobody used it.”
Most website chat fails because it opens with a form. Connect answers first. It is built full screen on a phone with a visible way out, it knows when you are closed and offers a callback instead, and if nobody picks up a handover within three minutes the visitor is offered a callback rather than left hanging.
“It’s more expensive than the tools we’ve seen.”
Compare what happens when they’re wrong, not what they cost. A cheap widget answers questions about your prices, stock and policies that it has no way of knowing, and you find out from an angry customer. It also has no memory, no score and no record, so it cannot tell you who is ready to buy.
“Will this replace our staff?”
No, and we would not sell it that way. It takes the repetitive load off your team and hands them the conversations worth having. Every consequential action still needs a person to click.
“We could build this ourselves.”
You could. The nine months after are the problem. Accuracy drifts when the price list changes, the handover silently stops working, nobody rebuilds the reporting, and the security review finds no audit trail. And the version that is still working in March is the one somebody is paid to maintain.
For your visitors
What it feels like on the other side of the screen.
It remembers people. A customer back a week later continues the same conversation rather than starting again.
Built for phones. Full screen, a visible way out, no keyboard fights.
It knows when you’re closed and offers a callback or a booking instead of pretending someone is there.
It offers a human on a dead end or plain frustration, once per conversation, not on a loop.
Lanefield Plumbing
Concierge, answering from your pages
Visitor: Do you replace hot water systems in Parramatta?
Concierge: Yes. We replace gas and electric systems across Western Sydney, including Parramatta, usually within 48 hours of the quote.
From your Service areas page
Visitor: Can you beat a quote I got from someone else?
Concierge: Price matching isn’t in anything you’ve given me, so I won’t guess. Priya handles quotes. Shall I book her to call you at 9:30am tomorrow?
No match in your content, so it says so
Visitor: Yes please.
Concierge: Booked for 9:30am tomorrow, Sydney time. Priya has this whole conversation, so you won’t need to repeat yourself.
Handed over to a person, booked in a real calendar
Sample conversation. Nothing here is a real customer.
For your team
What lands on your phone, and when.
Every lead, immediately
New leads, callbacks and bookings email and text the team the moment they happen.
Handover where you already are
A summary card arrives in the Slack or Teams channel your team already watches. Whoever hits Accept takes the conversation live.
Nothing left hanging
No pick-up within three minutes and the visitor is offered a callback instead.
Why it holds up
The parts that matter are the boring ones.
Accuracy is re-tested after every content change.
Real questions are re-run and a slip flags red that day.
Drag in a new price list and it is answering from it that afternoon.
A supplier outage costs one feature, not a dead chat box on your home page.
Every question it couldn’t answer comes back as a card with a draft answer
for one of your people to approve. After a year you own an approved answer library covering what your market actually asks, and it is yours, not ours.
Questions we get asked
Straight answers.
What happens when it doesn’t know something?
It says so, in the same breath as the next step. “I don’t have the delivery fees for Berwick. I can have someone call you with them.” Then the question comes back to you as a card with a draft answer for someone to approve.
Does it answer the phone?
No. Connect answers visitors on your website. If phone calls are your problem, we will say so rather than sell you the wrong thing, though it is worth knowing how many of your after-hours enquiries actually arrive on the site. More on that
How long until it’s live?
Weeks, not quarters. One line of code on your site, and it is answering from your content the afternoon you hand it over.
Who owns the data and the answers?
You do. The approved answer library, the lead records and the signed documents are yours, and they leave with you.
Are we locked in?
No. No minimum term, cancel any time, no exit fee. The first month is free.
See it answering from your own website.
Twenty minutes, on your site, no slide deck. And if we’re not the right fit, we’ll say that too.
